Summer is heating up and these refreshing drinks made with Lindt Chocolate are the perfect way to celebrate the last of the warm weather. Make large batches to serve at your start-of-summer BBQ or relax with a cocktail for the perfect summer night in (drink umbrella optional!)

WHITE CHOCOLATE STRAWBERRY DRINK

White Chocolate Strawberry Drink

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups milk

1 bar (3.5oz) Lindt CLASSIC RECIPE White Chocolate, chopped

5 fresh strawberries

¼ cup white rum (optional)

METHOD:

  1. Heat milk in a saucepan, and add the chopped chocolate. Remove from the heat and stir until completely melted.
  2. Refrigerate until completely cooled.
  3. Clean and chop strawberries.
  4. Combine the white chocolate milk mixture with berries in a blender. Blend until combined.
  5. Strain mixture and stir in rum (if using.)
  6. Serve in chilled glasses.

Yields: 2-3 servings.

ICED MOCHA

INGREDIENTS:

1.5 cups milk

1 bar (3.5oz) Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Dark Cocoa, chopped

1 cup strong coffee

1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

METHOD:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk.
  2. Add the chopped chocolate and stir until completely melted.
  3. Stir in coffee and cinnamon; remove from heat.
  4. Cool to room temperature.
  5. Add remaining milk and chill until ready to serve.
  6. To serve, shake and strain into a tall glass with ice.

Yields: 4-5 servings.

PINEAPPLE COCONUT COCKTAIL

Pineapple Coconut Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:

2.5 cups pineapple juice

1 bar (3.5oz) Lindt EXCELLENCE White Coconut, chopped

1/4 cup rum

1/3 cup coconut liqueur

2/3 cup crushed ice

METHOD:

  1. Heat the pineapple juice in a saucepan until it comes to a boil, then remove from heat.
  2. Stir in the chocolate. Continue stirring until completely melted.
  3. Add the rum and coconut liqueur. 
  4. Chill completely. Shake before serving.
  5. Serve in tall glasses over crushed ice.

Yields: 4-5 servings.

CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY “LINDTINI”

Chocolate Raspberry Lindtini

INGREDIENTS:

3 ounces raspberry vodka

2 ounces white creme de cacao

LINDOR Extra Dark Truffles

Fresh raspberries

METHOD:

  1. Chill vodka, creme de cacao, and 2 martini glasses.
  2. Put vodka and creme de cacao into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well.
  3. Pour into chilled martini classes.
  4. Garnish with an unwrapped truffle and fresh raspberry.
