Pro-Worthy Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
Chocolate and Strawberries are a classic combination that will never go out of style. This simple recipe makes for a delicious dessert you’ll make over and over again.
Ingredients:
(3) Lindt EXCELLENCE 70% Dark Cocoa Bar
(1/2) Lindt CLASSIC RECIPE White Chocolate Bar
(12-14) Fresh Strawberries
Method:
Step 1: Wipe the strawberries with a damp cloth and pat dry. Do not wash them.
Step 2: In a heatproof bowl set over simmering water (a.k.a a bain marie), melt dark chocolate.
Step 3: Holding the strawberry by its green stem, dip into the tempered chocolate, gently shaking off the excess.
Step 4: Place coated strawberry on a tray lined with parchment paper. Repeat with remaining strawberries.
Step 5: Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes to set the chocolate.
Step 6: Melt white chocolate in a bain marie or the microwave until just melted and add to a piping bag fitted with a small tip.
Step 7: Drizzle the white chocolate onto the strawberry for an elegant, professional look.
Chocolatier Tip: Chocolate dipped strawberries have a very short life span! Dip them as close to serving time as possible.
